Light overhead fi xture of ers
highest ultraviolet dosage to
destroy airborne viruses
The High-Output GLO Upper Air Germicidal UV Fixture from UV
Resources provides the industry's greatest amount of Ultraviolet-C
energy dosage without the use of additional power, heat or special
UV lamps. The patent-
pending GLO fixture, which
stands for germicidal light
overhead, delivers up to 350
percent more irradiance than
conventional upper-air UV systems. This
increase in irradiance levels translates to greater
UV-C coverage, enabling infection control specialists to treat more
area with fewer fixtures, saving both cost and energy. The wall-
mounted unit can be easily installed anywhere to destroy airborne
viruses, bacteria and mold spores.

Plasma Bipolar Ion Generator
provides higher ef ciencies
Plasma Air International's Bipolar Ion
Generator, an air purification system, produces
a balanced quantity of both positive and negative
ions. The ions are delivered to the space through the duct
system where they interact with pollutants on a molecular level.
The Plasma BAR features needlepoint ion technology that does
not require ion tube replacement. The long, narrow design allows
for installation in air handling units instead of hard-to-access units
mounted on ductwork, providing higher efficiencies and reducing
required space.

IEC VERTICAL CLASSIC SERIES FAN COIL
LINE IMPROVES IAQ
International Environmental Corp. has introduced its Vertical
Classic (F*C) Series fan coil units, providing new key elements that
improve indoor air quality, enhance system performance and mini-
mize maintenance. The series provides industry-leading versatility
for a wide range of commercial projects.
The fan coil units feature a condensate removal system that
minimizes risk of mold and mildew growth. The condensate trough
is also available with an antimicrobial coating designed to suppress
bacteria growth while preventing odor and inhibiting corrosion.
The series features a minimum
efficiency reporting value 13-rated
filter upgrade, which provides 80-
85 percent efficiency and facilitates
improved IAQ by trapping and
retaining smaller particulates. Filter
replacement is achieved without
the use of tools, which simplifies
maintenance.
