FULTON EXPANDS CONDENSING HYDRONIC BOILER PRODUCT LINE Fulton Companies has expanded its condens- ing hydronic boiler offering for commercial heating applications. The Endura boiler is now available in 750,000 (EDR-750) and 1,000,000 (EDR-1000) Btu/hr model sizes. Endura condensing hyrdronic boilers feature a duplex stainless steel, three-pass heat exchanger with enhanced fireside surfaces and up to 12:1 turndown capabilities. The entire product line carries Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute certification. The EDR-750 model size is certified at 97.1 percent efficiency, the EDR-1000 is certified at 95.3 percent efficiency, the EDR-1500 is certified at 93.5 percent efficiency and the EDR-2000 is certified at 93.7 percent efficiency. CHECK OR CIRCLE #124 hydronics /products AquaMotion hydronic pump line ideal for replacements AquaMotion, Inc. has introduced a new line of 3-speed hydronic pumps: the AM10. The rugged 3-speed pump uses 28 percent less power than the market leader. The four-bolt flange for mounting in line or 90-de- gree rotation capability make the pump ide- ally suited to become a perfect replacement service pump, for most installations. The amp draw is 0.45 on low speed, 0.60 on medium speed and 0.75 on high speed. The units are available in cast iron or stainless steel and feature a cartridge that can be removed and cleaned and inserted back into the pump, eliminating the need for replacement because of a dirty or clogged cartridge. CHECK OR CIRCLE #120 Bradford White adds intelligent controls to high-ef ciency water heater line Bradford White recently added the ICON HD Commercial Control System to the company's 100-gallon, 399,999 Btu/hr ultra-high efficien- cy water heater. The ICON HD is an intelligent Honeywell-integrated control with a digital LCD display that combines temperature control, diagnostic codes, system functions and op- erational status into one intuitive control unit. Features of the system include eight different service screens for simplified access to trouble- shooting and a communication port compat- ible with Bradford White's remote monitoring technology and other building management systems. CHECK OR CIRCLE #123 Modine's versatile hydronic unit heater of ers multiple installation options Hot Dawg H2O from Modine is an extension of the popular gas/pro- pane Hot Dawg line. It's the first hydronic unit heater to have no mov- ing external parts, making it a perfect fit for places like a garage or warehouse. The unit's design and low profile allow it to be rotated for either horizontal or vertical air discharge, giving users multiple installation options. Hot Dawg H2O comes in two mod- els — the HHD30, operating at a range of 23,700-39,200 Btu/hour, and the high-capacity HHD45, operating at a range of 23,900-56,800 Btu/hour at 180 degrees of entering water temperature. The HHD45 also includes a speed control, which allows the user to receive a range of 425-710 CFM. CHECK OR CIRCLE #125 LOCHINVAR FIRE TUBE BOILER OFFERS ADVANCED FEATURES IN COMPACT SIZE Lochinvar, LLC unveiled its FTXL Fire Tube Boiler. Designed with a stainless steel fire tube heat exchanger, the boiler sets a new industry standard by delivering 98 percent thermal efficiency and 10:1 turndown. The new line includes five models with inputs ranging from 399,000 Btu/hr to 850,000 Btu/hr, all in a compact size. In addition, the boiler is equipped with an advanced interface. Offering a wealth of new control features, the operating system allows for re- mote communication with the boiler via Wi- Fi or a wired Internet connection. This new connectivity capability redefines monitoring by simplifying data acquisition and providing remote diagnostics. CHECK OR CIRCLE #121 Calef introduces low-lead, high- fl ow thermostatic mixing valves Caleffi introduces the new 5231 Series low-lead, high-flow thermostatic mixing valve family for "point-of- distribution" applications. Designed for systems requiring high flow rates and precise, stable temperature control, the valves are IAPMO-certified low-lead brass and meet the requirements of ANSI/NSF 372-2011. The valves are used in systems producing domestic hot water or in hydronic heating systems. Their function is to maintain the temperature of the mixed water to a constant set value despite variations in the supply pressure and temperature of incoming hot and cold water.
