INSTALLATION TIME-SAVING FEATURE ADDED TO MINI-SPLIT CONDENSATE PUMP LINE An installation time-saving "plug-and-play" feature has been added to Aspen Pumps' Mini Aqua and Silent+ Mini Aqua, the slimmest condensate pumps for ductless mini-split air conditioners. The pumps are distributed in the U.S. by RectorSeal Corp. Plug-and-play enables quick pump installation or replacement, because power and communication cables are connected via easily attachable/ detachable slide-together pre-wired plugs. The Mini-Aqua Series' IEC Class ii appliance classification eliminates the need of a ground wire and makes the plug-and-play a quick connection or release. The Mini Aqua and the Silent+ Mini Aqua pumps are designed to quietly and efficiently remove condensate from the evaporator drain pan on ductless mini split and other air conditioning applications. CHECK OR CIRCLE #136 6. DPC INCORPORATES NEW TECHNOLOGY IN ITS QUIET PAK Delta P Carver has introduced the technologically advanced Quiet Pak product line. The vertical multi- stage submersible pump is encased in a 304 stainless cartridge. The result is a compact, but powerful booster package for sound-sensitive locations such as universities, residential condo buildings and hospitals. Quiet Pak uses pressure transducers to sense street pressure to the system and discharge pressure to the building. XYLEM RELEASES ENHANCED PUMP CONTROLLER STATION Xylem Inc. has introduced its Bell & Gossett TechnoForce XLS pump station, The TechnoForce XLS enables facility managers to meet a variety of design specifications by providing energy- efficient and reliable control to up to eight pumps from a single system solution to meet head and flow requirements of a building. Providing up to 300 pounds per square inch of pressure boosting with vertical multi-stage pumps and stainless steel piping, the system quickly moves water to where it is needed. IWORX SELFSENSING CONTROL WORKS IN CONCERT WITH ALL MAJOR BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEMS The iWorX SelfSensing ProView control by Taco works in concert with the company's SelfSensing ProBalance pumps. Included in the package is the new OneTouch ProBalance feature that permits automatic balancing of a pump (and by extension, the entire hy- dronic system) with one click of the mouse. ProBalance is an integrated, self-sensing con- trol. The new pumps now have plug-and-play connection with all major building automation systems. Ideally suited for new commercial HVAC/R ap- plications and deep retrofits, the fully integrat- ed pumping systems feature the MLE variable speed motor in ranges from 3 to 30 horsepower in 3,600 revolutions per minute and 3 to 25 HP in 1,800 RPM.
