Smith has enhanced and expanded its commercial- grade ProLine family with three specialty electric water heaters for low-demand, point-of-use applications, such as office lavatories, hand-washing stations, emergency stations, RVs and more. The series includes 2.5, 4 and 6 gallon models. Each is equipped with a single low-watt density copper heating element and durable tamper- resistant brass drain valve. The 2.5 and 4 gallon models come with a standard 110/120v cord set with three-prong plug and wall- mounting bracket for easy installation. The 6 gallon model requires hard-wiring. It features side-mounted plumbing and electrical connections, with optional top-mounted water connections for field conversion. All water heaters feature a glass-coated tank and aluminum-anode rod for protection against corrosion. It features a 6-year limited tank and parts warranty. CHECK OR CIRCLE #143 EXPANDED TANKLESS WATER HEATER LINE SELF-COMPENSATES FOR LOW, FLUCTUATING GAS PRESSURES The latest version of the Sensei Tankless Water Heater from Rinnai allows for easier and more flexible installation in more locations and with better operational performance. It also features a new combus- tion design that enables components to work together in harmony for enhanced output. A total of 14 vent configurations (four more than the nearest competitor) are available. A 65-foot vent run with 2-inch PVC allows for quick and easy gas conversion. The water heater is designed to self-compensate in areas with low or fluctuating gas pressures to optimize performance. CHECK OR CIRCLE #141 Combustion Control Analyzer for Small, Midsize Boilers Helps Meet Energy & Environmental Requirements To improve energy efficiency and meet environmental regulatory requirements for small and midsize boiler markets, Emerson introduces the Rosemount CX1100 in-situ oxygen analyzer, a high-performance, zirconia cell-based combustion control system designed for these users. The new system offers the ease of use, economy and simplified maintenance required for flue gas measurement. It features the same sensor reliability found in large industrial technology, but the system is built to the requirements of boilers used in such applications as food and beverage, manufac- turing, commercial and municipal. CHECK OR CIRCLE #144 High-Performance Indirect Water Heater Features Patented Heat Exchanger Design ACV Triangle Tube's GINIUS is a high-performance indirect water heater with the new Picanto, a patented heat exchanger design. This design allows for higher pressure ratings and higher output. In addition, the unique design offers less resistance to boiler flow than conventional coil heat exchangers. The heat exchanger and the outer tank is constructed entirely of passivated stainless steel to ensure long service life. The GINIUS tank has a lifetime warranty and is available in four sizes (35, 45, 55 and 65). The 65 gallon "flex tank" features a dual heat exchanger configuration designed for super-high output or for use with multiple energy sources. The GINIUS is approved for up to 80 psi boiler pressure with excel- lent continuous hot water performance. New Heat Pump Water Heaters Feature 4 Energy-Effi cient Operating Modes Bradford White Corporation has launched its line of AeroTherm Heat Pump Water Heaters. The new Energy Star-certified water heater features Vitraglas corrosion protection. Convenient top connections mean the water heater can be fully repaired in the field (both sealed system and electrical). The AeroTherm offers flexibility for the consumer with four different oper- ating modes: heat pump mode (most energy efficient), hybrid mode (energy efficient with faster recovery), standard electric mode (best performance) and vacation mode (to save energy when the unit is not being used).
