The four-channel equipment controller, with outdoor air tem- perature monitoring, integrates with third-party equipment including two-stage auxiliary heaters, humidifiers, dehumidi- fiers and ventilation equipment. A patent-pending algorithm enables the system to determine changeover based on room temperatures and set points for each indoor unit. CHECK OR CIRCLE #164 Honeywell Introduces New Wi-Fi Ductless Controller Honeywell recently introduced the new D6 Pro Wi-Fi Ductless Controller, a simple and intuitive replacement for handheld ductless remote controls. The new controller was designed to help contractors reduce installation time and increase ease of use for homeowners when managing their homes' temperature. It is easily installed and features a high-contrast dis- play and touch buttons for a simple and sophisticated feel, giving homeowners easy control over their in-home comfort. CHECK OR CIRCLE #165 HORYZON-C FROM DISTECH CONTROLS PROVIDES QUICK ACCESS TO COMFORT PARAMETERS Distech Controls introduces Horyzon-C, an IP- based capacitive and multi-touch color display that allows users to quickly manage an HVAC system's operating parameters. These parameters include monitoring values, equipment and system status, as well as viewing active system alarms to perform diagnostics and take corrective actions, such as overriding a sensor, pump or fan, or changing a setpoint. With Horyzon-C a fully customized user experience can be created with Envysion, a web-based graphic design and visualization interface. Or, users can leverage a preloaded visual interface generated for simplified commissioning, operations and troubleshooting, or for time-sensitive projects. CHECK OR CIRCLE #166 Smart Thermostat Tracks IAQ, Provides Voice Control with Visual Feedback Glas, by Johnson Controls, is a simple-to-use, yet powerful smart thermostat. Glas utilizes a translucent OLED touch- screen display to control its functions. Users simply touch the screen to change the temperature, monitor indoor and outdoor air quality, track energy savings or perform other functions. Alternately, Glas can be controlled by mobile app or by voice, thanks to Microsoft's voice- enabled digital assistant, Cortana.
