All faucet bodies will swivel with an included lock washer for rigid applications. Redesigned components, including bonnet and packing nut, swivel nut, indexes and lever- and wrist-action handles, have a new, modern aesthetic design. In addition, the full flow B-PT laminar flow outlet device has been redesigned. These updated products and others that undergo the redesign will retain their existing product names and model numbers for ease of transition. The conversion to the new de- sign will take place throughout the coming year. Employing its brand- exclusive CleanCurve Rim that omits the rim cavity and holes inside the bowl where dirt gets trapped and hides, the VorMax flush delivers one powerful jet of water that scrubs the entire bowl completely clean. CHECK OR CIRCLE #118 Bestbath Introduces Shower Pan with Side Discharge Drain Bestbath has developed a new 60-by-30 shower pan with a side discharge drain for use in multifamily renovation projects when replacing bathtubs with above-floor rough. The new pan eliminates the need for costly drain relocation and improves user safety by reducing the curb height to two inches. As residents age, they often need to replace a tub with a low-threshold shower. The 60-by-30 pan leaves enough room to use the existing plumbing setup and the lower curb height allows for easier shower access. It also replaces the common option of tub cutouts, which are placed in the center and often leave grab bars too far away to be used for entry. Building owners, facility managers and plumbing professionals can specify faucets with EBPS to prevent interruption of service in applications where water flow is critical. EBPS is available on select HyTronic and E Tronic 40 Series electronic faucets. EBPS offers hassle-free faucet operation with batteries that last 10+ years be- fore replacement and a shut-off screw that stops water flow during maintenance. The unit plugs easily into a standard AC transformer – no special connection is required. Chicago Faucets with EBPS meet ASME A112.18.1.M and ADA require- ments. They are certified to CSA B125.1 and NSF/ ANSI 61, Section 9 by CSA. HYGIENEGLAZE 2.0 SETS STANDARD OF CLEANLINESS Duravit has released HygieneGlaze 2.0, a ceramic glaze that further advances on the achievements of the original HygieneGlaze. The new glaze, which is baked into the ceramic during firing, is not only effective, but also fast acting. After six hours, almost all bacteria (90 percent) is killed and after 12 hours, a 99.9 percent bacteria reduction is achieved. HygieneGlaze 2.0 is available for all toilets and urinals in Duravit's P3 Comforts + ME by Starck collections.
