The new Sensi Touch Wi-Fi Thermostat with color display and Sensi Wi-Fi Thermostat both offer best-in-class installa- tion for either homeowners or contractors, with step-by-step instructions and video tuto- rials in the Sensi smartphone app. Customers can use the new geofencing proximity detec- tion feature or flexible scheduling options to achieve energy savings without compromising comfort. CHECK OR CIRCLE #121 Fully Programmable Thermostat Features Superior Wireless Connectivity Delta Controls' eZNTW is an advanced BACnet thermostat that boasts unique communications capabilities, such as onboard Wi-Fi to make it IoT-ready and enOcean wireless capabilities for HVAC controls and in-room integration with a variety of peripheral products, such as lighting, blinds and door contact. The eZNTW also features a wide range of sensing applications, from basic temperature monitoring to indoor air quality and oc- cupancy sensing. To cut down installation time, this BACnet-capable thermostat with fully programmable capabilities can be configured using NFC-enabled mobile devices or a web page via Wi-Fi. Designed to accommodate a wide range of sens- ing applications, the thermostat delivers custom solutions specific to the needs of each market within the built environment, and provides building occupants with an intuitive and customizable touch interface. CHECK OR CIRCLE #122 Cooling Tower Product Expansion Includes 14-Foot Models Baltimore Aircoil Company has added 14-foot models to the PT2 Cooling Tower product line. The PT2 now offers two new configurations (8.5-foot by 14-foot and 12-foot by 14-foot box sizes) that are certified by the Cooling Technology Institute. These new models are an ideal choice when replacing similar competi- tor's models or for new installations. The PT2 is a counterflow cooling tower, designed with end users in mind. Its design highlights BAC's commitment to low installation costs, ease of maintenance, energy efficiency and high reli- ability. Offering a compact footprint, the PT2 provides an efficient solution for installations with space constraints. CHECK OR CIRCLE #118 New Unit Coolers Off er Quieter Fans, Easy Maintenance Century Refrigeration introduces the Epic Unit Cooler Series, ideal for medium and large walk-in coolers and freezers, distribution facilities, dock ar- rangements and storage facilities. The coolers feature quieter fans and offer easier maintenance and serviceability than other options. Sleek and lightweight, the units provide excellent airflow. They are available in many fan and coil combinations. The series is the latest addition to the company's line of Comdustrial Refrigeration Systems, industrial quality equip- ment in commercial capacity ranges. Standard features include hinged, lift-off fan and end panels for quick coil service and cleaning, quick-connect fan wiring and a full unit width hinged drain pan. Air defrost, electric defrost or hot gas defrost op- tions are available to meet a wide variety of applications. CHECK OR CIRCLE #117 /controls QUANTECH INTRODUCES WATER-COOLED SCROLL CHILLERS FROM 50 TO 200 TONS Quantech is introducing QWC3 Water- Cooled Scroll Chillers from 50 to 200 tons to complement Quantech air-cooled scroll and screw chiller lines ranging from 15 to 350 tons. The water-cooled chillers expedite planned replacement projects by offering shorter lead times and a design that fits through a standard 3-foot-wide door. The chillers accommodate a wide range of applica- tions. They feature a large operating envelope, producing chilled water from 15 F to 59 F, while using condenser water from 64 F to 125 F. AHRI-certified full-load efficiency is up to 17 EER, with part-load efficiencies up to 24.5 IPLV. A dual-circuit, direct-expansion, tube-in-shell evaporator is used in conjunction with a cleanable thru-tube-type condenser that includes integral subcooling. CHECK OR CIRCLE #119 Daikin Applied Launches Water-Cooled Screw Chiller Daikin Applied has launched Navigator, a screw compressor water-cooled chiller engineered with Variable Volume Ratio technology. The chiller gives the power of efficiencies that meet or exceed ASHRAE 90.1-2016 levels and IPLV as low as .36. Navigator's single VFD-driven screw compressor brings new levels of performance to applications that aren't suited to traditional centrifugal chillers or magnetic bearing solutions. No two buildings are alike and no two days serve up the same cli- mate conditions, so engineers need technology with the flexibility and intelligence to help them design an HVAC solution optimized for any day or hour. Daikin's port- folio addresses that customer need whether the system design calls for a water- cooled (Navigator) or air-cooled (Pathfinder) chiller.
